his shoot was right before Chirstmas and the leaves are still on the trees but not for much longer. They will become bare in the next week or two. Then we will get our January fog and the grove will take on a completely different look.
Fall in the desert may not get much of the colors of changing leaves like much of the country but it is the best time to get out and get family pictures done in time for your Christmas cards.
I had the privilege of photographing the Johnson family to commemorate a new chapter in their family history. Here is a sampling of their gallery to show you how light changes during a session. I wish I could relay more of their story because their selflessness and generosity is truly inspiring . I am better for knowing them
